Jeanne has decided to cancel the "second opinion" after listening to me
harass. (reluctantly) She wants to put this Chemo off as long as possible
which is the worse thing to do. Time is valuable and can't be wasted doing
nothing..
The Chemo doctor was blunt, the office manner was totally different.
The conference room was a rectangle. We sat at one end in two chairs. He sat
at the other end, just a chair and small writing table. At least 12 feet of
open space between us.
The odds are not good. He said for every 100 women like Jeanne who don't
take Chemo, only 20 will be alive at five years. Of the 100 that take Chemo,
45 will be alive at five years.. Not very good odds at all. She doesn't have
the worse type of cancer. If you have the small-cell cancer, they don't even
bother to operate
